There you have it, the first post in months about Maun, and its about a hippo that raided a family pool. You see, Maun was, well the whole of Southern Africa was hit by low rains in the 2018/2019 rainy season, that meant the Okavango didn't flow as much as it had to, and semi-aquatic animals like hippos had to find water elsewhere in order to cool off from the high summer temperatures, even if that meant raiding a family pool.
